This is a preliminary study for a larger installation that i mentioned earlier. Lots of decisions still to be made about the layout and structure of the piece, but i plan on re-doing this multiple times and trying various combinations. Biggest problem so far is deciding how to get the wire mesh tight enough sustain the weight and pressure? Any suggestions?

ReplyDeleteIf your mesh is horizontal to the floor when you spooge the clay through it, you could maybe connect it to the ceiling with a series of wires; they wouldn't interfere with the "downside" effects of the clay coming through (like some kind of floor support would...)
But really - whatever you are doing here is FANTASTIC just the way it is - Victor
